Dave Ramsey is generally a benefit to society, but I always hate blanket statements. I’m a financial guy by trade and by hobby, and also a car enthusiast with decent DIY skills. But when it came time to put my wife and small kids into something, the new car just kept winning the comparisons. As many people have

the problem is that people buy them, claim they drive “gently” (when they clearly don’t) and bitch about the gas mileage.

His Batmobile broke down with engine trouble, and when he got out to inspect the car, it was struck by a Toyota Camry, and then his own car hit him.

Did you misread my comment?

There is nothing that makes me want to say “fucking dumbass bastard douche bag” faster than a bike with loud-ass pipe rolling down the street.

Absolutely false. I work in R&D for a major brake manufacture. The only thing liming your stopping performance is traction. Period. Full stop. End of conversation. I’m so tired of hearing the same BS repeated over and over.

Now if you want to talk pedal feel, modulation and the like it can help a lower skilled driver.

I think that depends on what you ate last.

If you think I’m mean for saying that, it’s probably because you are an idiot or a baby (no offense).

My audiologist did a great job on mine. I think your molding process wasn’t done right. That said, your ears do change and over time you may find you need new ones.

Sorry, I just use Wal-Mart disposable ones. They work great for me and really block a lot of sound. For riders who haven't used earplugs riding before, they still allow you to hear your bike and ambient sounds (like sirens), but just back the wind noise and such down quite a bit. It does make talking to a fellow rider

Direct fall on my helmet at 60 mph after a high-side and slid 100 ft downhill on my head like a pendulum. EMT cleared me as only having a minor concussion with no internal bleeding or bruising/fractures. In other words, your generalization is wrong.

I’m glad this wasn’t vertical video...

Truck marketing is war, GM knows that Ford is sticking its neck out with Aluminum and they are all to happy to strike. Also, like war, truck marketing is mostly pointless, ugly and fought with dubious facts.

Steely McBeam would like to have a word with you.

And let’s face it, unless you drive a beater or something that gets extremely good mileage, it may be a financial advantage to own one of these as a second car for commuting.

Your loss...

The speed triple is truly amazing. Even my mom likes my bike! Best all-round bike. I’ve done 800 miles in one day, and can drag knees in corners. And that sound....... 😊
