Unbelievable... People are using forums and instead of Facebook groups.

Its not about being used for their full potential, its just that now they’re the size of school buses.

I’m ok with the power, just not the size. The trucks are too big. Go back in time 10-15 years and compare. Cant use the “safety equipment” argument, not much has changed since 2006.

We go camping alot, need all the space. My Bolt has a video rear view mirror, which would be an easy fix.

Um.. any truck larger than a stock f150, and everything about them, full stop. Absolutely no need.

Ultra raked rear windshields on SUV/CUV/wagons. The function of the trunk is completely lost, which makes the larger footprint a waste. I get the design choice, but functionally, its terrible.

You have a point on trucks/SUVs/commuters, but that Audi isn’t helping your argument.. at all.

I just road-tripped 800 miles in a Chevy Bolt and the best DC fast charger featured an empty dirt parking lot and a porta potty at a commercial concrete facility right off the highway. I’m guessing it was strictly a tax write-off.

The only thing you really need is a bathroom or a forest. If you’re a pro, you have

What I dont get is why Jersey calls their concrete traffic platters “turnpikes” which gives it an even more cruddy feeling, meanwhile California has the “Pacific Coast Highway”. I’m aware of the delta in vistas, but Jersey could use a lesson in marketing.

Gotta consider the cost savings in maintenance and fuel cost over the lifespan of the vehicles. I just read a report that consumer EVs save $8k on average, which just about offsets the extra cost, without the environmental and health savings calculated into that figure. The USPS will no doubt keep these vehicles

Ankles are fine, its the boot-top tib/fib fracture thats going to happen, or even a femur/pelvic fracture, which can kill you if you tear an artery.

Im a patroller, and I’ve heard other patrollers say THEY have been left on the lift while doing final sweeps. We have to do 2-3 sweeps if there aren’t enough of us to do it in one sweep, and the lifties are not always the most experienced, sometimes still high school aged. No comments on our lift operators, they seem

Ski patroller here: We train for this and have the tools to get people out of chairs within 5-10 min. I don’t know what brand of cluster-fuck this is but there’s some massive issues going on here, not sure who’s at fault. A chair evacuation with ropes/harnesses should have been deployed and the lift operator should

..And here I am cringing when I accidentally drop my wash rag on the ground, thoroughly rinsing it out in a wash bucket so I don’t get paint swirls. What is wrong with these city dwellers that they would let strangers scrub crushed rocks (dirt) into their paint for a stupid marketing stunt. I wouldn’t do this to my

Yeah, stupid late night error. Meant Volvo.. damn you beer! Sorry, not sorry about the beer though..

Ugh.. yes, Volvo. Thats quite an ironic statement otherwise.

Tesla’s entire reputation is one based on safety. I dont think they would jeopardize that all willy-nilly.

What is the point of a turndown? Less noise? More noise? I cant tell if it would echo more or make it less noticeable inside the cabin. Surely they had a good reason for this bullshit.

I meant pervasive in the positive sense, maybe prevalent would be a better word.

Look at the Bolt, they used the same battery for their entire lineup including the EUV. I wouldn’t be so sure about multiple battery offerings. From a manufacturing standpoint, it might benefit them to just sell one.
