I bought NIO at $3-$6, and it hasn’t disappointed. They’ve had some jumps this week, but I think the party is over for now. Keep an eye on XPEV and LI too, they’ve both en fuego but haven’t hit their stride yet.

Easy fix, dont flip it upside down ;)

What kind of truck is that?

I dont like the look of tacked on ipads, but actually, its the best way to get the screen up high where you dont have to take your eyes off the road. I’ve yet to see a better design that actually works.

I didn’t realize the trunk was that much bigger, sounds like you lose the backseat but gain elsewhere. I never did like driving any of the R56+ 2nd gen cars, they lacked road feel in general. I’m more of an R53 guy, much more raw of an experience w/ greater steering sensitivity and cornering. If the Roadster is closer

As a longtime R53/R52 owner, why not just get an R57 Cooper S convertible? The overall size of the car is similar, but you have actual usable space, if not for passengers, just for a gallon of milk.

The size difference is more esthetic than practical. Driving larger vehicles is all about blind spots and greenhouses. I’d rather drive a Flex than a Tahoe, but ideally smaller would be more fun to drive and look better.

You’re about to be visited by 3 ghosts. Normally one would do, but this is just really that bad.

See Ford Transit, my buddy added cabinets/bed and still has room for his kids to ride in the 2nd row w/ all their gear.

I really want to like the Flex. I like the idea of it, but its just a tad too large for my taste. If it were early 2000s Volvo wagon sized, I’d be all in.

Anyone who’s actually driven one will give a hearty ND without hesitation. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

Bring boxy back please

Its just funny because now you’re mimicking incandescent bulbs w/ the gradual fade, but you still have quick on I guess.

I invested early on w/ Tesla (this year), bought at $350 during the sell-off from $900 in March. I held on till I thought I made a savvy profit @$600/share, lol. This was before the split, mind you. SMH..

There are far more fires per year from ICEs, do you worry day and night about those? I didn’t think so. There were 5 Bolt fires total out of ~80k sold in the US, I’m not worried. The fix for Bolts is to limit charging capacity to 90% (which EV owners do anyways unless you’re on a road trip). Kind of hard to overcharge

Nope, they were cheap before that Einstein. The fire recall is no biggie, and almost every EV/ICE manufacturer has fires. The temp fix is to limit charging to 90% and permanent fix will be out next month. I knew about the recall, bought one anyways. The prices are falling because of cheap new Bolts + massive amounts

As someone who buys new cars, I went used because the Bolts are just so damn cheap, so I think its relevant, but sure, even new Bolts are $22k for Premier.

When used Bolts are selling under $15k for either base or Premier, I dont see an argument for Fuel cell. Its a good thought experiment, but for now not viable.

CUVs are basically tall cars, the face is fine.

Chevy Bolt, they’re a steal right now either new ($24k for Premier) or used ($15k Premier w/ 30k miles), and are very fast (if you can tolerate not having a manual). Good handling, plenty of space, save $$$ on gas!
