Personally, at this stage of my life (kids, no time to wrench) I would get a Miata for its reliability or a Cooper (already owned 6 and I know them in/out). E46 has been on the list for a long time... I’ve been craving a 300ZX NA or 2nd-3rd gen Supra or Celica lately.

Thats true, any 4 banger will be buzzier, and of course the sound. You sure about less torque? I though the power band would just be different, maybe better low end torque.

I didn’t mean to offend, I’m sure the MX-3 is fun, and is a good deal at $3k. Personally, I’m not a fan of the styling. I would rather have a Miata/3 Series Coupe/Cooper S in the same condition. I saw a 944 and 928 a few weeks ago for around $3k.

Didn’t realize there was a 1.8L V6, thats crazy small displacement. I wonder what the benefit would be (if any) of a V6 over I4 at this size, aside from being able to say it has 6 cylinders.

If it wasn’t in his contract, couldn’t he just have said no? If he assumed he would be compensated, that seems sloppy. Seems like that would be his agent’s fault.

I’m not in the industry, but if taking promo photos is standard practice for a movie I’m on the fence whether he should get a car. Seems like its something that should have been negotiated in his contract before.

Any industry insiders?
