FFXIII was the absolute worst. I couldn't believe they kept going with it. It fairly put me off my love for all things Final Fantasy, so I am glad to get this news. ^^

I'll buy a next gen console or build a better gaming PC specifically for this game and count every penny as worth it.
It's safe I downloaded and installed it on my mac.
