It’s a way for the Fredos of the world to feel intelligent.

The mugginess of high humidity can also impede how far droplets and aerosols from our mouths and noses travel before falling to the ground

Would the last third of an animated Cerebus series just be stills of insane, rambling text?

Good points. I almost feel like the writers felt like she needed to be professional all the time because she was a woman. She couldn’t be seen as being too soft, and given the Delta Quadrant situation they figured having her make a lot of moral compromises was the best way to offset that. Unfairly, that made people

Thank you

Ride  it, just lose control

MCC is fucking horrible, no doubt. It’s torture and should be destroyed, just like ADX Florence. But there’s almost no way he could have killed himself there. The architecture of the cells just doesn’t allow it. Everything is concrete and built geometrically into the floors and walls.

This is a problem in a lot of states, Republican and Democratic. In New York City, probably the surest way to get away with murder is to run your target over with your car. People in positions of authority (especially police) pretty much universally love car culture.

I’m pretty sure they’re trying to expedite her appearance because the last guy they apprehended connected to this “committed suicide” in jail while he was mysteriously left unsupervised.

OMG, you’re right! I just assumed it was Anguirus. It’s funny because I’m also friends with MechaAbbataracia irl.

I get that Anguirus is Godzilla’s best friend, but why are they hanging out with Mechagodzilla?

This is AMAZING

Bit of a tangent, but was anyone else shocked back in the day to find out that Evan Dorkin was not part of the creation of this show? It’s so close to his art and writing style. Kevin could definitely have been part of the Eltingville club.

I’m honestly not sure their testing protocol is enough. Players get tested from 24 to 48 hours before a match. NWSL staff only get tested once a week. No one is under any sort of quarantine.

I’ve been there. I had no idea what it was, but it was late and I was walking by with my girlfriend and she wanted ice cream, which they sell in the front lobby area. Didn’t pay the admission, of course. It looked like a waste of time.

Pretty sure Bunn was born wealthy (she lived in the West Village while attending NYU and Parsons) and only held one previous job (at Time, Inc.) for less than a year. I don’t think she’s particularly grounded.

Using a door pull up bar, I also built a pulley system and bench press spotting apparatus with around $20 worth of steel rope, chains, pulleys, and carabiner clips. I also use a pair of loading pins from Iron Mind which were around $35 each.

The Dragonlance books aren’t nearly as good IMO as people like to remember, but yeah, there’s some cool stuff. I actually bought all of the original DL series 1st edition modules as they were released and they were above average, if really on rails. And the one that was actually a wargame was pretty good!

The media synergy with the comics was amazing, too. The “A Death in the Family” storyline, easily the comic book story that had received the most mainstream media coverage of all time to that point (and to this day probably only outshined by the Death of Superman) had come out only a few months before.
