Communal is the best way to describe this movie. It’s not my favorite MCU movie, but boy did they stick the landing of it all. And that, in and of itself, deserves massive praise.

After reading this article and the BuzzFeed one, I’m getting a very, very strong vibe of “unrequited crush” and “dude who’s seeing way more than what’s actually there” than “holy shit she’s a homewrecker who wants him so much she’ll jeopardize her marriage, her career, and her life to get with this guy.”

The words of snow thing is also just based on linguistic ignorance. Many languages (e.g., German) combine adjectives and nouns into long compound words, but one talks about how there are hundreds of words for “table” or “rug” in German.

As I wrote, she has done objectively good work on Indian Country issues slightly before and since the DNA test. But the issue doesn’t start or stop there.
