It’s an Action RPG. I’ll never understand how people can watch that trailer and not be excited for it. It looks like the best iteration of the game and characters ever. I swear some people will never be satisfied with anything. If Square had tried to do a 1:1 perfect remake, it would have just been a retread and it

Your logic is that all the “fans” want the old school turn based game which is not true at all. There are a lot of people, myself included that do not miss it. Name one JRPG that still uses the old turn based system and is wildly successful.

If you hadn’t told me those were from a videogame, some of those far out shots could pass for being real.

I’m fine with that. It’s silly to think they can finish the entire game in the time given. This just means more content and better graphics/performance in the next gen. I just hope the wait isn’t more than a year and half or 2 a part. 3 years a part is really pushing it..

I remember playing Horizon Zero Dawn and all I did for awhile was go into photo mode and zoom all the way into Aloy’s skin just looking at how detailed it was. I really hope FF7 has a photo mode.

Incredible! More dumb idiots just throw themselves out there to be known about how absolutely silly and petty they can truly be. Thank you for proving my point. If you’re so bothered by some rando on the internet that you have to stoop to such levels, be my guest. I don’t work for CDPR, I won’t lose any sleep over it.

Wow you keep proving me right. Blind, raging, mouth frothingly dumb. Bravo.

First of all, the GOG galaxy launcher is not required for any games. Second of all, even if you do use the launcher so what? Is it really that huge of a problem? This is what I’m talking about. Perfect example of stupid, blind loyalty.

Actually, I just replied to the wrong guy. Whups.

Like others have already stated, GoG is owned by CDPR, it even says on GoG that 100% of the money goes to them.

Me personally, when I do buy Cybepunk 2077, it’ll be on GoG. That way CDPR gets all the money and I suggest others to do the same despite whatever stupid, misguided loyalty you have with Steam.

Like I said, because of its sheer scale. It took them over a decade to finish FF15 (although due from the reboots they had to go through). Nevertheless, 4-5 years of development for a game of this size is not nearly enough. Also, I’d hardly call this vaporware at any level. We had in game footage of it quite early on

I’m completely fine with this. FF7 is so fucking huge that I’m glad there isn’t really a known time frame as to when it’ll be complete. I’d be far more concerned if they came out and were like “Okay guys, we finished the entire game! It’ll be out 3.3.2020! Yeap! The WHOLE game!” Because that would most likely mean

Then this game ain’t for you. This is how the old games worked as well. There are a lot of multi-stage boss fights. Also, the scorpion boss is not timed, the timer activates afterwards for you to escape. And even in the original game, it’s more than enough time, you’d have to have a seizure and pass out to fail.

Yeah, because a short 8 minute video really showcased the pacing to such an extent that you can judge it. No, you’re just a whiner. Using your metric of judging games, I’d give the new God of War a 2/10 for shit pacing and battle system because that first battle with the Draugr took fucking forever and was a chore.

I wonder how much licensing money it would cost to get the actual MCU cast to do modeling and voice acting. This did not look nor sound good..

Avengers....did not look good. I can already see the scathing reviews if they don’t polish the fuck out of it.

Don’t group everyone into this little club that you think everyone who is playing this for the nostalgia factor wants the old school battle system. You only THINK you want it. I for one do not miss running into random battles every 5 seconds and waiting for my turn. It’s pretty much why I abandoned Dragon Quest XI.
