Firmly in camp epic misfire here.

This car has all the bro styling features: More fake grilles than real grilles, fake aero exits, fake exhaust tips and diffuser, ridiculous 3D texture on the front grilles that look like someone wedged a black clipboard into your bumper to see if it stays.

Mercedes Head of Design Gorden Wagener describes the current Mercedes design language as: ‘If you like it, take a line off. If you still like it, take another line off’.”

This car has a number of design quirks but I’m now seeing these ‘intakes?’ below the kidneys....they’re not attractive from some angles.

If car design has gotten so bad we consider this good looking.....then we’ve lost the plot.

Somewhere out there, there is a Cimarron collector making this guy look sane.

Think about that poor mother and her 12 year old daughter. Imagine being her husband and the father of that child. I want to say something shallow, stupid, and sarcastic that I’m sure I would think was funny and that will probably include the word “Millennial” but no. This is just sad and tragic.

And you can get a Camry for a lot less than a Lexus ES, but what is your point? The day-to-day experience is very different. 

If this car had a front mount V6, a rear-mount 6-speed and RWD, I would do dirty dirty dirty things to her.
