How do you get the shaving cream into the plug hole when it’s always way the hell down at the bottom of an otherwise blind hole?
I could see this being sort of useful if it tied into the nav system. You punch in an address and it helps you look for relevant signage. Making it where it highlights relevant road signs would be useful too.
The seat sensors in my Tesla were easily tricked with something as light as a backpack with a laptop in it. Or a cat.
The hardware is already there. This could be fixed with an over-the-air update, but the priorities for their software team all revolve around stuff that pushes the user to buy the “Full self driving” upgrade, like making all the gauges smaller, moving buttons on the screen around so you can’t find them, and so forth.
The Mark 1 MR2 actually had some Lotus DNA to begin with. Doing this would be the least offensive Toyota sportscar phone-in to date.
In other Tesla news, it appears they raised all the prices by $500 overnight.
I was ready to say that I regret selling almost every car I’ve had, but now that I think about it, there are some I definitely don’t miss, like the BMW E46 I had.
This guy seems like maybe a Grand Cherokee is in his future. Can you get the V8-but-not-hellcat one for $55K?
Or maybe a Model Y or Mach E?
I work at a University - I’m not, by any definition, a student there, and even I have to pay for parking.
Why would it? There wasn’t a Tesla involved.
Not necessarily. I switched back to an ICE car after about two years with a Tesla.
Camaro or Mustang? The V6 Camaro convertible is a hoot.
I feel like this whole thing is basically just this guy really wanting a Tesla Model Y, and wanting us all to say that’s OK.
Just wait until you actually get one and join one of their “enthusiast” groups.
Ex Tesla Owner here. Can confirm.
Wait, if you show up late for work in the Army, they just send you straight to prison?
I traded in my Tesla after the previous update did some even more boneheaded things than this, but holy shit, how fucking hard is it to just leave the goddamn controls alone?
I think it looks cool. If I were in the market for a sports car, I’d consider it if it were reasonably priced. The interior is sorta weird looking, though. I don’t love that - particularly since there doesn’t appear to be a manual transmission.
I passed on a rough one of these I could have bought for about $1500 back in August. I regretted it almost immediately. It need some minor body work and some sort of fueling issue worked out that caused it to not run reliably, but sitting in it at the time, I was reminded of how cool these were back when they came out.
