You damn him with faint praise, though your praise is not quite as faint as Kylo Ren’s aura of evil menace.

Seeing as that’s what they did with George Lucas, it does rather make sense.

Trumpire?

Methinks I like Kylo Fem better than Kylo Ren. They should’ve had Kylo Fem be the villain. His whole mopey-loser-wannabe-villain-boy routine is awfully cliché.

Out of curiosity, if you don’t mind my asking, why do you support Clinton? What about her appeals to you?

I liked one of your posts below for linking to an article on Clinton’s fairly unimpressive record, as I believe more people ought to acknowledge that, but I do confess to feeling some regret over my decision. I really don’t believe Effyew was looking for a fight over which candidate s/he supports. It’s actually

I admit, it’s very, very difficult to parse this clip. I’m not so fond of Clinton’s body language, but the clip is short and the context lacking. The previous Black Lives Matter response I found far more jarring.

We have a one-party system that directly benefits people like Trump. I’m not about to vote an oligarch in over the servant of one.

That does not mean I’d be voting for Clinton if she won the Democratic primary, however.

“It is clear that our casting choices should have been more diverse.”

Assuming this is real:

1. We already agree they were doing the incest.
2. DTMFA.
3. </danSavage>

And, at the very least, the incestor had the decency to take care of his half of the DTMFA in advance.

Yeah! Why do you hate mustard with such a single-minded passion? You must have been a terrible Clue player as a child!

(I kid, of course.)

I lost you at “pants.”

I haven’t played the more recent FFs, so I could be barking up the wrong tree here, but can we really know for sure how the combat system is going to work from a single video released who knows how many months (or years?) before the final product? So far, it looks more like Chrono Trigger’s system than anything else.

I always feel like I’m being watched by everyone in those environments. It isn’t always conducive to productivity.

I believe there are several reasons for that. The first is that any kind of policy that tries to provide benefits for the disadvantaged or which imposes upon the autonomy of big business is labeled “socialist.” From a rhetorical perspective, that places you in the position of trying to prove you’re not a socialist

Oddly enough, methinks Heinlein would approve.

Ah! I stand corrected. Pardon my amnesia.

It’s largely the same psychological profile, honestly. The stakes, however, are much higher with terrorists.

I can’t help but find the national hazing ritual to which the media are subjecting my generation (and its youngest cohorts especially) more than slightly hypocritical. They complain that us Millennials are fragile, temperamental and childish, and blame it on clingy parents who coddled us, shielded us from

Oddly enough, “General” technically would be a downgrade from “Princess,” as the former represents a military ruler subservient to a sovereign leader and the latter represents someone who might well be that sovereign leader. The sexist connotations of the princess archetype stem more from our tendency to objectify
