So, how do they keep rubber tires from exploding at that speed? Are they special one-off prototype tires or something?

FYI, the bugs in the Journey were ironed out for the 2012 model on up. They have bigger brakes, LED tails, 3 rows of good seats, bluetooth, touch screens, multi-zone cimate control, and the pentastar. We’ve had our for 5 years with nothing wrong with it except my fat ass breaking the plastic off the passenger seat

I wonder how much of this has to to with electric rates in CA. When I lived there 10 years ago, I was paying 22 c / kwh for the first 500kwh, then 33c/kwh after that. The cost of electricity across much of CA is ridiculous.

I live in the pacific NW, and it’s still worth it. no real penalty for having a drop top anymore, it’s quiet with it up, and you get rear windows that roll down (they don’t in the coupe).

So funny, I have a 2015 Mustang vert and LOVE it, and I have general pants-tightening for this too. Must be hard wired into me..

I grew up travelling the world, not with the military. People love to bitch about the US, but then are really glad we’re close at hand. It’s a weird dichotomy.

Lol, would look like confetti. :)

If you’re replacing them with poly, you leave the sleeve.

Watching the downhill section made my palms sweaty. That’s crazy...

Both. it’s the same thing. The 2 pistons share a common journal in a v12, so in terms of firing order, it’s like to I6's connected to the same crank. In 60 degree v6's, there’s a 60 degree split between shared pins, and in a 90 degree v6, there’s a 30 degree splay, so that the firing is always 120degrees apart.

I also will reply to help you drive clicks. We had a rogue for work, had. It, um, didn’t make it in the delivery business.

Woah, that side view looks like a Pontiac G8 (a newer version of). That’s pretty sweet.

I feel for those that got lied to, but the cars are pretty decent. Too bad this is ruining the whole market for used tdi’s, I’d probably buy one.

If you really wanna throw up in your mouth, consider the following:

Came here to post this. :)

Can’t tell if serious.. Do you mean the 0.00006% of the air that’s H2?

This should be on “Splode,” not “Sploid.”

This desperately need some hysteresis on the throttle/brake control. The constant gas-brake-gas-brake actually made me sick, as it reminds me of horrible drivers.. :)

My first thought when reading this was, “Man, planes are really amazingly safe, considering that a front fan disintegrated on climb and not one injury.” Then, I thought, “the FAA must love the cell phone age, so many cameras capturing event data simultaneously, and the flash storage is pretty resilient.”
