Came here to express excitement at low cost volts, glad you had the same idea.

I bought the mustang, and let my wife drive the SUV, but it’s a fwd Journey. still gets almost 30MPG with the 300hp v6, and she doesn’t care it’s fwd, it’s still big and useful.

Uhh, it’s missing the trans as well. I know the ad says it comes with a T56, but I don’t see a T56.

The underside of those vehicles look like they were used as work vehicles in a salt mine. Holy crap.

As a professional nerd, my first thought: I hope this comes to video games soon. :)

I found this 2014 Mustang for 17k. :) The 14’s got real cheap when the new ones came out.

I had a 1.8 LT. I noticed it when blipping the throttle, or when I let the clutch out quick, there was a 250ms-400ms delay in the needle. Sorry, now you’ll notice and I ruined it for you. :)

That’s my point exactly.

Heh, I had a sonic for 3 years. Loved it. My gauges were a bit optimistic though.. And the tach lagged a bit.. Remember hitting the rev limiter a few times because the tach was a tad slow.

Sweep gauges give you 3 points of information at a glance, number readouts don’t. 1) Specific information (what speed you’re going), 2) rate of change (how fast tach is moving, how quickly oil pressure changes), and 3) general info regarding scale (temp is in middle of allowed area, no further time required to get

In addition to the great advice already listed, I offer the following:

As somebody who’s done a few engine swaps, this one is really clean. It’s not that hard to get a big motor in a car, what takes the time and effort is making it look like it came that way. The wiring is tucked away, the ecu hidden. Factory fuse box retained. Pre-molded coolant hoses, molded CAI. Interior: Factory

Yup. Even easier if you got one of the rare non AC cars.

As a long time BF4 player, I can attest to the deadliness of a little bird. Especially when there’s a couple of engineers in the back. ;)

If we knew where the targets were, why didn’t we do something about it earlier? Our milk toast dear leader must not have thought it important enough.

Maybe, but KBB on a 2 year old is a $250,000 liability, so you’d still owe $249,500.

That’s easy: Apply parking brake, turn wheel to full lock, drop clutch. car will rotate out.

This gets me too, but remember that school zone times are variable. If there’s a kid at any crosswalk within 300’ of a school, the speed limit is still in effect, school or no school.

If you want to make things really simple on road trips: A case of ensure shakes, your favorite non-sugar caffeine drinks, a condom-catheter and urostomy bag (sorry ladies, only works for guys.) I’d also suggest dropping a life changing deuce BEFORE leaving, then loading up on a couple anti-diarrhea pills. Stop for

Regarding the global emissions idea: You’ve clearly never been to Africa, especially sub-saharan Africa. Cars are still sold new with carbs. Why? Because in the middle of nowhere, you can work on your own carb, but you don’t have a fancy fuel injection diagnostic machine.
