Was I the only one pleased/surprised by all the GM's on that list?

I've been playing and building cars for YEARS and have never heard of Fluid Film. Just goes to show, you learn something every day. Star to you!

Heh, I actually know that fiero.

The chevy volt transmission is similar, but has 2 planetary gearsets and a clutch, and is even more efficient.

Yup, the "blue-dingy-thingy". I've owned them for years, but good tip.

I drive a Fiero. I am even more nervous now.

Just so I understand properly: NJ driver slows down in construction zone and moves over. PA driver gets all agro and does mad pass, hitting construction barrel. NJ driver blamed for bad driving. :)

Those tie rod ends are used in literally almost every subaru from 1998 to 2015. Very cheap.

Any website, no. Rockauto, yes. been using them for 10 years. Never once disappointed.

rockauto.com says your forester tie rods are about $20.

I'll try it. Thanks! But, to be fair, I bought the Sonic in Dec 2011. :)

Also, looking at your handle, I'm guessing you're a VW guy. I would LOVE a brand new golf, and MK7's drive really nice, but why does a 4 door Golf TSi hatch cost almost TWICE what my car does when you add the same features? It's a better car, but twice as good? It also costs easily 40% more for parts and

I'm almost 40, and have owned personally over 20 cars. I'm not saying it's the best car, I'm saying it exceeds it's mandate. My car brand new with 100000 miles of warranty coverage was 15k out the door after taxes, has laminated windows (sound absorbing), 10 airbags, bluetooth, nav, power everything, cheap to

Mine is the slow motor (1.8l) with 15" wheels, but it is SO QUIET on the road, and with the manual trans gets an easy 40 MPG if you're nice to it. It just feels more expensive than it was, and that's a win in my book.

You make the Sonic comment as if it's disparaging, but having owned one for over 3 years, it makes me want this more. The platform is great, and that stupid little Sonic has exceeded EVERY expectation I have of it. Every time I get the itch to trade it in on something newer and more exciting, I can't. I think I'll

Rotterdam, waar ligt dat dan? :)

I believe it was originally a bump-stop.

You good sir, are clueless. Good day to you, enjoy your wine and your beautiful countryside. We will never agree on anything except liking Jalopnik, and that's ok, because you are there, and I'm here.

I grew up in Europe. 4 years in Portugal, and 5 years in the Netherlands. I've visited every country in Europe, and was in Berlin when the wall came down. When I speak, it's from experience, not opinion.
