I would assume the taxiway at sea-tac was a runway too. Seems like an odd spot for a taxiway, sitting on the far side from the hangers, with what looks like another runway or taxiway to the right.

If you look at the pavement markings where the 747 is sitting, and compare that to the satellite image of the airport, the 747 was sitting in the exact center of the taxiway that Ford landed on.

For my 11th birthday I was allowed to fly a Cessna for about 15 minutes (first time being in an airplane at all). The actual flying part is so easy even a child can do it.

In Colorado, a used Subaru is worth more than either a used Audi or used BMW (of the same age and mileage). There are tons of Audi Alllroads for sale really cheap here, because people bought them thinking they would be reliable, but they weren’t (usually suspension failure of some sort)

I was more thinking of complete vaporization of the surrounding rock ( a really big nuke, buried really deep). I also figured the radiation would only hang around for 50 years or so, but forgot about it being a sealed space.

If you were hitting 80 (I’m assuming celcius) then it was either an undersized heatsink, or too much/too little thermal paste (or too much overclock for a stock heatsink)

I remember the first Voodoo card, it wasn’t even a full video card, it only did 3D, and required the use of a standard 2D card and a pass-through cable.
