I was predicting to the fam that Earth-1 Alex was going to die, as a dramatic moment to give the episode heft and also so no one has to wonder why Alex doesn’t join up with Team Flash.

Laughed my head off for at least the first half of the episode. All the crossover stuff is delightful. The Monitor, on the other hand, is supposed to be a good guy IIRC. Plus they talk about Crisis on Infinite Earths red skies (not that I saw any?) which is when Barry is supposed to disappear...

Why is there any confusion about how to save Henry? Get Jada to use the McGuffin (spear? dagger?) she stole that releases ppl from Tartarus.

Twirl Twizzle before Zod!

The most distracting part was Eobard Wells’ hair circa accelerator explosion, especially in conjunction with original footage. Sherloque wears a hat most of the time, why not just give Cavanagh a haircut?

Those are Elder Heywood’s guys using the kaupe as a weapon before the more larger high tech holding facility gets built.

Didn’t Charity say that “Elder” is a traditional title and misnomer at this point? I got the impression that she is powerful but not supernaturally youthful (and so too young and pale to have borne Jada) even if Harry has implied a longer existence, this being his second shot at life due to whitelighter-ness.

Erik hung out with the Solitract for quite a while, so I was expecting the Doctor to make a promise to come visit periodically. Y’know every few millennia or so for a week.

No mention of both Wells and Cisco mentioning the questionable underpinnings of Thanksgiving from the indigenous/colonizing perspective?

It occurred to me recently that the chinless costume was designed with Stephen Amell’s facial hair in mind...?

While it certainly wasn’t a central part of the story, Amandei said more than once that his goal was to heal the human heart, and then he reconciled/met his half human daughter.  This put a great big spotlight on her for me as a magical/alien human healer for the writers to pull out of their back pocket when they need

I don’t have any problems imagining a planet who is mostly white. It could happen. So no problem with that either.

My biggest problem with the episode is one that I have with a lot of SF which is the numbers. 10,000 workers in a company that is the biggest in the galaxy. Any major Earth corp (eg. Amazon) employs more. And if any of the galaxy’s entities are not human sized (say, sentient ants or cat sized aliens) then their

I greatly enjoyed Push. There was a little timey-wimey-ness due to some characters being pre-cogs that rely on intention (so telepathic memory removal being an effective defence) but other than that it’s a pretty straightforward story...  Also, it makes me wonder what would actually happen to a body if you directly

They could’ve told Doug he’s motivations doom him but that would mean letting him know it’s all real and works (almost) the way he thinks it is and that would doom him as much as it did the Four.

According to Michael who used to lie about this sort of thing but doesn’t anymore.

The impossibly high standards are a Bad Place fabrication, I think. As Mindy St. Claire demonstrates, the key is to where the dividing line is. After all, based on the Good Place Podcast, both Mozart and Jimi Hendrix are in, so you don’t have to be Mother Theresa (who I realize Michael said did not make the cut, but

My husband once made noises about getting rid of the rice cooker now that we have an InstaPot. I have tried the InstaPot rice and he gets rid of my rice cooker along with me. What I’d love someone to try is a few InstaPot staples with a fancy rice cooker (risotto?  pot roast??) some of them say that they are

I make a full pot (medium) each time, even when I was living alone. Leftovers keep just dandy in the fridge.  Also, who ever keeps their cooker on the shelf?  Mine lives on the counter full-time.

The Doctor may have asked companions to join up before, but were they ever so fully informed and so explicitly asked for consent to a “safety not guaranteed” situation?
