Maybe I don’t know my Defender history but this doesn’t look right. That doesn’t look like a 109, it looks like a 110 so the titling may not be on the up and up. Also as far as I know there was never a 2.25 turbo. They upgraded to 2.5 N/A then added a turbo to that engine.

actually if the car was here for that model year you can import them, typically it involves changing some tail lights and other small bits but you wouldn’t need to wait 25 years to import an R8

OK so having spent over 6 months in DC I can agree that their drivers are some of the worst - but until you have spent a significant amount of time in Southwest Connecticut you can’t make that claim that they are actually the worst.

sounds like my defender

Not sure I buy this argument. The SR-71 needed to be refueled midflight quite often. Where are the tankers going to come from to refuel this if we don’t have that large global footprint. If anything I would say that this becomes a less relevant aircraft if we reduce the number of bases.

Brilliant 4.0 Cologne??? That engine moved my 2 door explorer with an average of 14 MPG. Cheap to maintain, yes. Good engine, no.

Why can Mazda make a drop top that is 600 pounds lighter than this? The Toyota sourced engine in the Lotus is pretty light so I don’t think that is the problem.

very different beasts, LR3 has all independent suspension. RR is a real truck, mechanically much closer to a defender or tractor than it is to the LR3

when they were new, yes people didn’t take them off road. Now that they are cheap a lot of people take them off road.

I owned a 95 SWB Rangie for 2 years. It was without a doubt the worst and best car ever. I loved to drive it but it ended up developing more issues than I can even remember. The most fun one was that the wipers only worked when I was actively using the drivers seat adjustment - that made driving in the rain a fun

This is just the link interface they are selling. Ford now offers Apple Carplay and Android Auto as applications on Sync which in effect acts as a dumb OS that allows these apps to interface securely with the car. Really this is a security device so they don’t end up in the same boat as Chrysler where hackers could

this one’s buy it now is a hair over but you could probably get it for 15k

don't they have the rights to the old rover that they turned into a 2.8
