I will, thank you. If it is about how women are treated by law enforcement, I have been there and, yes, it’s still a waking nightmare I can’t escape.. I I think I will have to approach this work slowly.

When I worked in the criminal-legal system, the DOC guards I spoke to ALWAYS said they preferred working with men over women, and the most common reason was because female inmates/detainees were “so manipulative” and would just “talk and argue all the time.” It didn’t take me long to realize what the guards meant was…

Colon got a disciplinary ticket for “reckless eye-balling.” She had made a face when a corrections officer gave her an order. She says she ended up in solitary confinement as a result.

Why the heck are menstrual products a privilege.

I don’t know how this is going to sound, but this feels SO much like the day to day punishment we, as FREE women, suffer too. Look at someone the wrong way - written up! ‘Disrespect’ a co-worker, written up! Allowed TWO sick days per year but you need three - FIRED!

This is solely due to men running the show, which, in America, means buying into our racist, evil prison-industrial complex, which has always been a crime against humanity.
