I loved Gremlins as a little kid, seeing it at least 10 times. A couple years back it was on TV so was going to watch it with my 7 year old son and it dawned on me around the scene where the mom blows up a gremlin in the microwave: “damn this movie is fucked up. They actually made this for kids?”

Growing up in the 80s I saw a lot of fucked up movies and I never batted an eye, but the banshee in Darby O’Gill really freaked me out.

As much as I don’t like a lot of what he says I agree. I mean he spent three hours talking with Sanjay Gupta, which is much more interesting than the screaming talking point fights you get on cable news or Twitter.

I used to watch that “To Catch a Predator” segment on Dateline NBC and half the pedophiles who they caught at one point said “I’m a nice guy.”

If you are treating dating like a Bloodsport marital arts competition, maybe you’d be better off single.

Good point. Clearly this was such a PR win for protestors, they should double down on stunts like this. Sinema will cave in anyday now!

Yeah if you are a guy content to let your wife do all the shit work and not give a damn, then yes your marriage is in trouble because you aren’t showing basic respect for your spouse. It’s tough making relationships work. It’s hard finding a balance. People will make mistakes and gender norms can creep in w/o people

Some relationships are like this. Some aren’t. Like any relationship, marriage requires communication, honesty, and humility, not to mention a willingness to work together. If you have these things, then marriage can be pretty rewarding despite bumps in the road.

The worst is when you put in the work, do the writing or whatever, go to multiple interviews and then get ghosted. That’s just damn rude. I understand not replying to every resume, but if they reached out to you and asked you to take further steps, the least they owe you is a nice letter explaining the situation.

I’m starting a petition for Monica Lewinsky to replace Bill Clinton at the DNC this summer. Who’s in?

Warren is in fact a bad candidate. Klobuchar is a good candidate, despite the bad boss stuff.

God I’m sick of Warren whiners. She isn’t the only woman candidate, so complaining how voters are dumb, sexists pigs for not voting for your preferred woman candidate because she’s so smart and good at debates is arrogant and obnoxious.

Both Warren and Harris fucked up by worrying to much about what this wing or that wing of the party thought and it muddled her message. Harris never really had her own message, but Warren did but she got caught up in trying to impress leftists on Twitter instead of sticking to her message. Klobuchar clearly couldn’t

Look she got blown out in a neighboring state. Klobuchar from MN and with a way less money and resources beat her. By a lot. This is why we have primaries. Candidates who bomb the first two usually don’t have much a future. I mean Warren is still in the race. And she’s your candidate, go for it. But to pretend the

This. Election. Is. Over.

That’s total BS. Biden dominates among AA voters. Yes I know not all of them. But a lot of them. It’s why Biden’s lead in SC hasn’t nudged.

Harris got a lot of establishment support early on, especially from the former Clinton wing. Look, she never made a convincing case for her candidacy.

Mayor Pete: “I have to confess that I was slow to realize — I worked for years under the illusion that our schools in my city were integrated.” This jackass is the mayor and he knows shit about his own schools.
