That’s why we have Vox.

Gravel didn’t make the cut.

yep

The question is why the New Republic felt it needed to run this article in the first place.

Yeah I wouldn’t put money down on it, but she’ll force to GOP to spend time and money defending a seat that should be a shoe-in. And that means less resources to protect genuinely vulnerable seats. I wish Beto would stop his stupid campaign and do the same in Texas.

Honestly I thought there would something serious in here, instead of bemoaning that an AOC clone isn’t running for the seat. It’s Kentucky. It’s hard-core Trump land. Whatever works to get a Dem elected.

I get the point he’s trying to make. If you’re in the Senate, you’ve got to work with people you don’t like. Hard-core liberals in the Senate had to work with James Eastland. It comes with the job. What bugs me is how tone deaf this is. I mean he could of said I worked closely with some bland Republican like Dick

The tough guy is the guy who fights the wars, not starts them from an office.

She has a big “lane” problem, i.e. putting candidates into Gilligan’s Island official roles. Warren is the progressive white woman. Harris is the African-American woman. Klobuchar is the woman with a record winning midwest Trump voters. Gillibrand doesn’t really add much to the race at this point.

The Franken thing is really killing her. It’s killing her fundraising and it’s killing her among Democratic activists in Iowa and New Hampshire.

Because he’s bored according to all reports. Maybe he needs a less expensive hobby.

Dany didn’t snap. It’s just that up this point, her ambition to be queen always seem to dovetail with doing the right thing. That s until now. It’s nice that she liberated slaves, etc., but that helped her achieve her primary goal. Pretty soon everyone would know who Jon really was. Plus people liked him more than

It can and it does help. It could always be doing more, but resources have become a big issue in the last ten years. It can’t however replace the actual union. If they’re dragging their ass, there is only so much the AFL-CIO can do.

Go outside and play. Adults are talking.

It should be added that it isn’t really the AFL-CIO’s job to organize. It’s the member unions. The AFL-CIO is a federation of separate unions. It’s like criticizing the Chamber of Commerce for not starting a successful business.

Unions aren’t just about wages. It’s about making sure workers are at the table and have a say about the future of the company. Without a union, employees have zero say in whatever happens.

I haven’t flown on Delta in a while, so maybe they employ 15-year-old boys as flight attendants, therefore making this a smart PR move. But I’m going to guess a 37-year-old with kids and a mortgage would likely be severely pissed off by this.
