Those things always seemed far too subjective and ‘at-whim’ (for lack of a better word) to be properly budgeted to me.

I specifically bought a pair of noise canceling headphones for when I get anxious about my girlfriends depressions. I’ll go into the bedroom, turn off all the lights, get under the covers and listen to some synthwave music. I’m still a little anxious afterwards but considerably less and much more manageable.
