The GPS/accelerometer in Pokemon GO doesn’t work. It keeps thinking I’m driving too fast even when I’m walking.

A chart with no Y-axis, the best kind of chart. /s

Another moron also said that the gunman breathed air just like nearly every known rampage killer.

What’s the difference between a retail Wii U game and a package retail Wii U game?

The console market is mostly dead in Japan. The PS4 user base is under 3 million (about the same for Wii U) and succesful AAA titles barely sell 200-300k units a year on average. The 3DS is still pretty big (something like 20 million units) but it’s been out for over 5 years and won’t be here for ever.

I’ve watched most Apple keynotes and Android isn’t mentioned a lot. Tim usually makes fun at Android’s fragmentation (which is a very real issue for developers) comparing it with iOS for which the vast majority of devices run the latest OS and that’s about it.

This is how Amazon, Comixology and a number of other services do to avoid paying 30% to Apple and Google when buying via their app.

Has remote play on Mac and PC been available as a Beta feature or are you basing this on your experience with the PlayStation TV?

What if you both have a Mac and just a regular amount of expendable income?

Netflix launched in Japan just a few months ago, so that kind of explains the lack of Netflix app. VOD services are still very young in Japan too, so there’s that.

If you don’t have anything better to do than hate a company for no reason, I really feel sorry for you. Statistically, unlike all Apple haters who rant from ignorance, most Mac users have or still do use Windows PCs, and speak from experience.

Yeah, because if everyone was using a Mac tech support would be out of job.

And only works for people in the US.

Kichijoji represents!

Kickstarter is basically a patronage platform. You give financial aid to a person or an organisation, and there’s no guarantee whatsoever that you’ll get something in return. It certainly isn’t an investment.

Off the top of my head, Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Red Faction Guerrilla, which are both 5+ year old games.

Scripted. There’s not a lot of developers right now who can do this kind of stuff on the fly, and there are usually the bigger devs with access to top tier technology.

People block annoying ads because they’re annoying, not because they want stuff for free. If ads were less intrusive, relevant to you and run a length consistent with the video you’re watching (nobody wants to see a 30s ad to watch a 30s video clip) I’m convinced that most people would happily tolerate ads on YouTube.

Fans blame Capcom because they’re the ones to blame. The vast majority of games works perfectly well regardless of how many OS updates they go through, probably because their developers give a shit, unlike Capcom.

40 year old and he’s probably never lived on his own. Looking at how he reacted to the whole thing it’s not too far-fetched to assume that he has very little practical skills or real life experience.
