Konami Digital are very successful with their crappy, by-the-number f2p apps. Konami also operates other businesses such as toys, slot machines, TV production studios and even fitness clubs, so while they’re maybe dead to gamers, the company is not going anywhere soon.

Of course YMMV, but a pair of $400-$500 shoes can easily last you for 5 or 10 years. I wear mine on a rotation, and my oldest pair is about 10 year old.

Passcode and Touch ID.

Video calling has been around for about 20 years on PC and 4 years on iPhone. Hardly what you could call a “novelty.”

You may be right about the original Just Cause, but Just Cause 2 blew it out of the water. When watching the video, keep in mind that this game was released 5 years ago.

Just Cause 2 is the definition of what open world sand box games are about. It went way beyond what GTAIV offered and is arguably the best game in the genre, including Crackdown.

It’ nice to see someone who gets it. Konami and most other Japanese game publishers are transitioning their business into one that deals exclusively with formulaic, by-the-numbers F2P mobile games. Development costs for those are a fraction of what it costs -on average- to make a console game: investors love low risk

Sounds just like any pachinko place in Japan.

The dev went full passive aggressive for absolutely no reason at all. I’m not really familiar with this TotalBiscuit guy but the dev was the one being unprofessional here.

To run Dirt3, Microsoft used a 3-way AMD 7970 Crossfire setup (with a mobo that supports it), so the graphic cards alone would cost more than most 4K monitors.

Yes/No questions work some of the time, but for more complex issues, I’ve found that multiple-choice questions (The issue X is this. Here are my 3 suggested solutions, the 1st being the one I think is best.) work a lot better.

Not sure what you’re smoking sonny, but whatever floats your boat. As far as I’m concerned, these devs are welcome to push themselves into further irrelevance, and I invite gamers that are not happy with Sega and the Yakuza team, to vote with their wallet and skip everything they put out.

Other developers work as hard or -more likely- harder than these clowns, and yet they allow players to take screenshots.

Usually not, as this would be very cost (and time) innefective to translate and then adapt.

Mostly because that would require to create 2 separate translations (and hence double the costs).

It’s already April 1st over here in Japan and nothing, as expected.

They'll make more Metal Gear... themed-F2P crapfest for Android.

Forward to March 2015 and naysayers must be eating crow.

I've spent an inordinate amount of time playing this game, just because of this.
