You realize that you're the one who brought up IME in a discussion about translation and romanization, right?

I know that. I've been using ATOK and IME for about 20 years. My point is that using IME as a reference for romanization is completely meaningless.
You would be right if romanization was done for Japanese speakers. I believe that the goal of romanization is to be easy for non-Japanese speakers (who have no intention of learning Japanese), and with this in mind, most Japanese are terrible at it. I blame Kunrei and poor foreign language skills.
Maybe so, but native Japanese speakers are famously terrible at romanization. A good translator must have very strong writing skills and knowledge of the conventions, grammar, etc. of the target language, particularly if they're working in the entertainment industry (music, films, books, games, etc). A lot of games…
For reference, Microsoft is also giving iPad owners $350 when they trade their device to buy a Surface tablet. You could probably get more from your iPad on Craiglist/eBay.
The game is for iOS and Android only, so yeah, your PC won't be able to run it.
But Wine would run the Windows version of iTunes, which is a POS compared to the Mac version. People who like to hate on iTunes hate it because of the Windows version.
I think he meant that transcribing モリブリン as Molblin (instead of Moriburin or Morblin) is a very odd choice which only a non-native speaker would typically make. Off the top of my head I can't think of any Japanese word with a R (ラ変) that is romanized as "L."
Unless you're some kind of genius -or you're already fluent in Chinese and Korean- it will likely take you more than a year or two to be able to understand a text heavy game such as Yakuza.
In Japan the game and Short Peace were on the same disc. It will hopefully be the same for the international release.
Apparently they've NOT filled for bankruptcy:
Love the name of the kit "NISETRO" (偽トロ) which is somehow a pun on the name of the official 3DS devkits and capture devices ("NITRO").
You don't even have to download them. Just "purchase" them from the PS Store from your browser and you don't even need to download them.
Hey Nintendo, drop region locking and I'd buy a Wii U.
Same here. I can't stand FF's character design since FFVIII.
Maybe because on the NES, hardware limitations made that you could only show 25 colors on the screen at one time.
