But don't you think that the anti-Korean sentiment (and anti-Chinese sentiment) is mostly perpetrated and amplified by the media? Every time I ask people around me why they feel that way about Korean and Chinese, it's always about something they heard on TV or read in some tabloid rag.
I love Just Cause 2 for a all the reasons that you mentioned, but really the game's core mechanic works extremely well and is incredibly fun. That and the incredible scale and graphics, even to this day and even on consoles.
How much would it cost for components that fit into -what looks like- a small form factor case?
I completely agree that there are a few workarounds but yeah, PC games are region locked while modern consoles are not, which is a major issues for people who don't live in the "right" countries.
Are you sure of this? Steam uses your geo IP to block purchases from other countries. As far as I know, the only way to get past these restrictions is to subscribe to a VPN service. And getting physical copies of PC games costs twice the US retail price (ex: AC4 is currently ¥9,800 (=$98) on Amazon) which is way more…
You forgot:
The game is named "Marc Ecko" not "Mark Ecko"
If that's the case, then Mexico was one of the "select markets." But for the rest of the world, the game launched on the 11th.
Rovio did a soft launch in New Zealand first. The game became available to the rest of the world today.
BMI is a useless measure, news at 11.
Believe me it hurts just the same when you step on one during daylight.
Skills are not all, though. I used to build my PCs myself when I was younger and I guess I should still be able to shop for parts and build my own rig. I also had a lot of time on my hands back then, and when you get older you'd rather spend the time you have with your family and your friends.
Maybe it's overpowered but that's what used in the comparison video.
Except that if you look at the estimated price of the PC used in the video (the specs are posted right below the video on YouTube), you'll see that it'll cost you about $2,000 just to get the parts (based on http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2htNb), not including the case and the controllers. You'll then need to build that…
Do you know how big an inch is
You're sure? Looking at this picture from this issue of All-New X-Men earlier this year, I'd say Scott is about 10" taller than Logan.
He's a 19 year old kid. With a 4 year old son. Maybe he (the father, not the 4 year old) just doesn't have the best judgement skills.
You are right about the easiness to develop for a couple of hardware configurations (iOS) and the fact that owners of iOS devices spend significantly more on content than Android users. Apple don't pay for product placement or exclusivity rights (unless they buy an entire company, but that's another story).
Chrome, Dropbox and Google Drive are my favorite games ever! Internet Explorer an Skype, on the other hand, not so much.
