You are only partially right. Custom, build yourself tower PCs are more customizable and cheaper than the best selling Mac models.

This is not my experience. I've used Windows since 3.0's release (1990) and switched to Mac when the first 24" iMac was released (2006). I'm still using Windows at work and I've not met a lot of Mac users who haven't used Windows for an extended period of time.
