I agree. If social media had been around in the 90's Batman’s suit would not have had nipples.

Right and responsibility on twitter slides into leaking people’s phone numbers and addresses online if they don’t get their Snyder cut...which may or may not exist.

This seems like it’s just shifted her obsession with the Joker from trying to impress him into one where she’s trying to surpass him – but it doesn’t actually give her an arc that’s actually free from him.

Precisely. Swap out “The Trump Administration” for “The Catholic Church” in the above, and the same still applies.

Worse, it replicates a dynamic commonly found in abusive relationships.

Wait, Shazam and Aquaman were rated R?!? When did that happen? Or are you talking about that King of Comedy remake?

I’ve gone from, “Well I pay for the service so I’ll probably watch it” to really looking forward to it. I like the idea of Harley assembling her own supervillain team, and I especially like the idea of going after Dr. Psycho (who presumably used a specific, gendered insult to refer to Wonder Woman) because “no one

Wondered about the R-rating myself. Someone else insisted that, left to their own devices, Warner Brothers/DC will always push for darker, R-rated interpretations of their characters.

I was initially pretty optimistic about this show, but the thing that really bugs me about this is that all of her motivation and development here seems to still be solely based around the Joker.

First, what’s up with DC Universe needing everything to be R-rated!?! Was all this planned when Deadpool was making loot?

Criticism is literally terrorism, this comment brought to you by a complete fucking moron.

Okay, so, here’s the thing: I get it. If your core, central belief on which you base your entire life holds that any kind of interference with a pregnancy is equivalent to murder, these policies make sense. What’s some suffering/discomfort compared to the literal life of another being and, potentially, your immortal

The first trailer was meh for reasons beyond Sonic’s design. This actually looks like it’ll be fun. Will it be an actual good video game movie? Maybe not, but it should be at least a little more silly fun than most of them are.

Sigh, as I said on Kotaku, there is a line between being an entitled asshat and giving your feedback as a consumer. It is your right—and maybe even your responsibility—to do the latter.

That’s about 100% improved. We need to go see this film the first weekend, if for no other reason than... A Hollywood studio fucking listened to it’s fans for once. We will also need to skip TROS for the exact opposite reason. :)

You know how in cyberpunk fiction different industries are dominated by a single incredibly powerful company? Like, there’s always a gene-editing/bio company, a computer company, and...an entertainment company. Disney is increasingly looking like one of those dystopian mega corporations. They’re gobbling up greater

It’s a tough line. Legends of Tomorrow’s treatment of Captain Cold can be cited as a way that it can work, but considering the television medium allows more time to bring a story like that on and play with it, it would invariably work better there, IMO.
