The Dem leadership has apparently gotten used to GOP-ers being crude and spewing soundbites; they have forgotten what “principled” means, and would likely allow the apples Mueller has shined on their behalf to dry up completely in the absence of public pressure to do _something_ with them.

Establishment is apt!

I’m with FeministonFire, I tried to figure out the twitterverse, but I can’t.
Thank you forever Roo, for parsing this shit. It’s a full-time job.

Once again Pelosi is conflating accountability with punishment.

The thing is Trump and Mitch took Nancy’s status quo out to a field, raped it, and left the body to die of exposure. She has to go because she’s now a roadblock regardless of how much Wall Street cash she brings in.

Same. Hell, I’d vote for Lennon with an extra side of McCartneyism if I thought it would help.

“It’s definitely possible to impeach a president, just saying! It doesn’t even seem that hard!”

True,

“There’s lots of centrists and right-wingers who are just saying they’ll vote Democrat if there’s a moderate there. That’s a *lie*.

An impeachment inquiry uncovers a much broader set of crimes much faster. We had enough to begin before the Mueller report.

I don’t think she is clueless. Disconnected, sure. Willfully so.

Just alternate each half of this comment a couple hundred times in reply to each other, and I think we’re done here.

Gonna go out on a limb and say that roughly two schools of thought are soon to be presented in what I am sure will be a thoughtful, well reasoned, and non-acrimonious comment section:

Democrats seem content to let Trump lounge in the White House for as long as he wants.”

Regarding that tweet in your post;

I was surprised to see such a bloodbath given that his commons majority including is basically down to 2.  This basically guarantees a general election in a few months, no?

So Boris is now PM and he set about a bloodbath when it came to the inevitable Cabinet Reshuffle, with more than half sacked or “resigning”.

Everyone knew this going in. Muller is a by the book guy and he feels his report speaks for itself. He never intended to say anything new. If there was any lack of clarity to the Muller Report, it was intentional, and he was not going to clarify it today.

That is what Jon Stewart is doing with the 9/11 bill and it is working worked.
