To far too many white people, pointing out racism is a worse offense than being racist.  Many of us even, somehow, think that pointing out racism makes it worse.  I can’t quite figure out that logic, but I’ve heard that argument from family members who, on other issues, are well-informed.

Trump’s not the disease, but a symptom. Anyone who thinks a different Republican president would be tangibly different is kidding themselves. At best, you got back to having the quiet part quiet which I think is worse.
