I get what you’re saying but the conceptual bit comes in because I’d be lying if I claimed I wouldn’t feel like I was picking sides even if all I did was come to a conclusion about whether or not I feel like the positive outcomes would outweigh the negative ones...growing up/going to school down south with the bulk of

honestly I’m a bit hazy as to how it might work in practice because I’m not sure exactly what the difference between the “government of national unity” phenomenon is & the version where the leader of the party with the 2nd largest number of seats gets a crack at building a coalition...

being as I already wildly overuse ellipses...& can recall a UK TV show called Citizen Smith...

under those circumstances the convention is that as the leader of the second biggest party the queen invites him to assemble a government, so he would be the leader of it if he could build a suitable coalition...at least by default...

I think he’s somewhat to the left of Bernie & arguably not as in touch with the modern reality of politics...but that’s close enough for government work...with “momentum” being like an official cadre of bernie bros...

not to be a jerk about it, since the edit window is a cruel mistress at the best of times...but that would be reins without the g...

he might well be the limpest opposition I can remember...& to pull that off when during the bulk of his tenure the party he opposes has been airing its racist laundry in public while arguing with its sketchy uncle who hasn’t shut up about this stuff since the 70s (aka “the brexit party™”) leaving what I think is still

Spitting Image used to get away with using puppets...but I do find it absurd that John Oliver can’t air those segments in the UK...

fair enough...although I do think you might have misconstrued the point of my question a little...

a .308 for a rabbit...things have changed since I was a kid apparently...never would have gone above a .22 for a rabbit...maybe even .177 if we were using an air rifle...

you should call it “ the defenestrators"...

I think the key to the nicknames' appeal (& the chants at those rally things or the online meme stuff) isn’t so much that they’re aimed solely at conspicuously dumb people...

I have little in the way of proof or citations to offer but I’m fairly certain that if one had access to a complete overview of all of his holdings, assets & liabilities (even the ones he wouldn’t admit to) along with the necessary technical manual with which to unpick a “real” bottom line...

he & his boy donnie “the dotard” wish McCarthyism still worked but so far they’ve had their ass handed to them going after the likes of AOC on social media...so much as they’d love to keep those pesky actors/women/jews/suspect “foreign” types down I’m pretty sure they know that taking on Hollywood is completely out of

I don't know if there can be a god given the state of creation...but I'm pretty sure you're doing the Lord's work, all the same...

think he also called the ire of those opposed to his side of the debate “confected”...projection is apparently the go to move in modern right wing discourse...
