ugh.... my eyes are still hurting somewhat since i only just finished a 6 hour stretch of Dead Island.

I much prefer Steam but i'll be honest, I dont have any real issue with Origin other than its lacklustre store offerings and outrageous prices.

Okay, now I freely admit there wasn't enough 'bayhem' in this trailer to appease me AT ALL.... but i've gotta ask...

Would a Civ 'clone' with ultimate command of the environment be so bad for a full priced game?

well humor is subjective but yes, a lack of appreciation for 'dark' humor is all too common.

i think making a proper game, with greater depth out of it WOULD justify a full price.

Reading it, i was entertained but it felt like EVERY chapter lead up to a massive reveal that was simply 'nodded at' and not 'expanded' when the same plot thread was picked up later in the book.

I liked it a LOT for what it was, imo, a technology demonstrator....

I cant help it... the flowing golden locks? it's like Gilderoy Lockhart on steroids and a big hammer.
