How is anyone not seeing this?

The older I get, the more I realize that 90% of the things these type of men do is simply to satisfy their own egos.

I think these people believe that it’s just “tough love” that the child deserves for violating their religious ideals.

It sounds like you came from a normal and supportive home. Some people aren’t that lucky, and the wrong information getting to their parents will simply lead to escalated physical or emotional abuse.

My husband and I have started to refer to Trump voters as Red Hats, courtesy of their MAGA hats.

I swear this entire election is bringing me back to being emotionally abused.
