I’m not sure if the starter is meant to be able to be engaged with the kill switch in the off position, but switching it to on allows me to rocket away from my embarrassment.
Yep. I can’t vouch for the Chinese bikes but old machines tend not to have many (or any) safety features, whether they came that way from the factory or a previous owner removed them.
90-degree v-twins do sound amazing. If they have a dry clutch, that’s even better.
True but we cannot complain that Jalopnik is covering more and more about motorcycles :)
I know not everyone anthropomorphizes cars, but I think it’s a very human thing to do, and I’m not sure any of us really can not do it, at least on some level.
Hey Torch - I see you are a Kurt Vonnegut fan.
The company says they’re removing the e-bikes “out of an abundance of caution” and that the move is proactive.
A very good one as well:
How easy is it to drive one handed while holding a cell phone Pizza style? Because 99% of Rave-4s drivers I see do that
Okay, but - unless you journos drain the oil before hooning - nothing you do should be able to reduce the engine performance (aka the amount of “snap”) in 7k miles. Valves, rings, pistons, bores, FI, etc. all should be well within tolerances and frankly not far at all from new. The trans should be in the same…
While my Mazda 6 loaner had been around the block a few times, it had about 7,000 miles on its odometer, it still had plenty of snap.
Also, is there still a lien on the car?
That. Would. Be. Awesome!
Conservatives have argued the federal government should not be propping up electric cars at a time when car buyers have demonstrated a clear preference for SUVs and pickup trucks.
Yes, Renault named a car the “Wind.”
I mean, yes, his name is Torch but let’s not go the flammable route.
Now we can take action. Now, perhaps, something can finally be done.
