Unions are democracy in action in the workplace. Any Democrat who is anti-union is not a progressive and does not belong in an opposition party to the corporate power that is destroying this country. Citizens United is just the logical conclusion of the underlying case “Buckley v. Valeo”, which equated political donations (i.e., campaign cash) with free speech. Once you establish that, the 1st Amendment’s pesky “no law” bit gets in the way.
