The 15% excise tax is ridiculous and should be abolished, as should the “recreational tax”, whatever the fuck that is. These taxes are punitive and only serve to ensure the black market stays open.

Pelosi has kept her position of leadership in the Party for just one reason: she is the best at raising money, full stop. Her position as Speaker was assured not by her skills at legislation or party unity, but by the vast amounts of donor money she is able to bring in.
