I wish there was some way I could dispute what you’re saying here, but I’ve got nothing.

No, because Citizens United was actually formed in 1988, with major funding by the Koch brothers, as a conservative “think tank”, a predecessor of the Center For American Progress if you will. Not as a “fuck you” to Hillary Clinton, who was still only the First Lady of Arkansas at the time. It gained a lot of momentum

“White” America voted for Jimmy Carter. And Bill Clinton. Twice.

OK now you’re just talking crazy.

Now playing

No, money is not a scapegoat. Anyone who sees what extremist libertarians like the Koch brothers, or Sheldon Adelson, or Robert Mercer, or Rupert Murdoch, or a bunch of others spend to get right-wingers elected know this already.

What the hell is your deal man. Do you want a civil war?? That’s exactly what the “other side” wants, and every time a video like this shows up it just pours gasoline on that fire.

I agree, Hillary would not have instituted such vicious and bigoted actions against minorities and immigrants if she had won. I voted for her even though Bernie is still my guy. I voted for her because I knew what Trump would bring if he won. I hate it when I’m right.

Sure it works. For you. But you know who else it works for? That’s right, this smarmy sack of shit:

Yeah I noticed. Democrats today are like Republicans that don’t hate Muslims. Otherwise they’re pretty much the same.

That’s exactly my thought as well. Abolish all financial contributions to election campaigns entirely and make all elections 100% publicly funded. Lobbying could still be allowed, but the financial or “other considerations” that are typically a part of it would likewise be outlawed. That means that if you want to

I’m not saying there is a way. What I’m saying is that beating the hell out of them is definitely NOT the way.

I would object to the question because I wouldn’t have any idea “how” to justify the KKK, especially as a kid in school. Even as an adult I can’t understand the fear, anger and hate that drives people to join them, so I sure as hell couldn’t explain it on a written test.

In point of fact they actually are. They have the power to detain and make arrests, and investigate crimes. They have only been tasked with protecting the President since after William McKinley was shot. Prior to that their main job was going after counterfeiters, a job they still perform even today.

So basically what you’re saying is there’s no way to bring this guy back from the depths of his psychosis, is that right? No chance to see the error of his ways? He backed the wrong horse and so now he’s just fucked? For life?

Wrong again. Monopolies have a profit motive. Governments don’t. In fact a hundred years ago, the government launched a massive campaign to break the power of monopolies and trusts in American business, because they were seen as a threat to democracy. You know who led that effort?

I literally don’t know why everyone was so eager to suck up to that guy. He was an accomplice in one of the most toxic administrations America has ever seen, and lied repeatedly and unapologetically on its behalf. I’m not forgetting that.

Funny in the short term I suppose, but think about it. Getting knocked out for being a scumbag will pretty much guarantee that this guy will never change his views. All that happened is that his anger and hate were reinforced, by violence against his person.

People actually still watch TV??

There was no Democrat “super” majority in 2008-2010. There was only a majority. “Super” majority suggests a “veto-proof, filibuster-proof” majority, which they did not have. But you’re overlooking the main point of my argument. Both Democrats and Republicans could have changed the law to reign in the cost of drugs,
