I consider it a remaster, with the (somewhat inconsequential) sequel thrown in. Butcher Bay was the reason I bought it again anyway, because the original was such an astounding technical achievement on the OG XBox (and a terrific game besides) and I really wanted to see how it would look on better hardware. I wasn’t

Collections are not “ports,” you’re getting multiple games for the price of a single game.

Tales of Graces f was a Wii to PS3 port. They’re generally considered to be the same generation.

I’m kinda surprised the state was able to make the case stick. They had far less evidence than the OJ trial, and he walked.

I can agree that Vice City (still!) has the best soundtrack of all the GTA games, but I was always more of a V-Rock guy myself. Takes me back to my high school days. :D

I tried to mess with it a few times, but just could not get past the simply appalling load times. Despite my 30 mbit (at the time) connection, it would take 3-4 minutes to log in, and another minute at least for any given feature to load. The whole experience was just one huge exercise in waiting. And once you were

All this really does is make me want to play Symphony Of The Night again.

Yeah that had to be my most memorable WoW moment as well. When I first ran through the Stormwind gate and that epic music came up, I was hooked.

Wait, who actually still even goes to arcades??

Granted it's unlikely after 8 years, but it's possible there are still people who plan to quest in Outland who don't have access to the Vale, and rely on the portal in Stormwind or Orgrimmar to get them there. Caverns Of Time is a rather unpleasant detour by comparison.

If so, I guess that means mage portals to Shattrath City will be back in demand, to some extent.

The robot is Maximilian, the kinda-sorta villain from that movie. Basically the hench-, um, thing of Dr. Reinhardt.

Considering the limitations of Destiny's chat options, you wouldn't be able to tell him even if you wanted to. :(

I don't want zone or proximity chat. Heck, 3/4 of the people I see on PSN don't even use their headsets anyway.

What about Diablo III?? LOL kidding. But how about the original ending for Metal Gear Solid. Cue Alaska montage (with a splash of intrigue at the end...)

I don't really give a crap about any of it. Numbers don't impress me much. All I want to know is WHEN I'LL GET TO PLAY IT.

Now playing

Thundarr the Barbarian, as a Last Of Us-type action game!

Agreed 100%. It's criminal of Sony to expect users to pay ownership (or beyond) pricing for limited time rentals. The only PS users I could imagine would be happy with this are those with large amounts of disposable cash, but limited shelf space for game discs. So basically anyone who lives in Tokyo I suppose...

Doesn't matter what they do. It's still a lousy deal for everyone; a retailer with an otherwise unsustainable business model, propping up its bottom line in exchange for bleeding the life out of the very industry that furnishes it with product to sell. It's bad for customers too, who get next to nothing for trade-ins,
