“I don’t have time” is universally understood shorthand for “I have taken on obligations that prevent me from being able to do this, whether by direct personal choice (I chose something incompatible), indirect choice (e.g., my school or career path temporarily or permanently reduces my free time forcing me to ration

i assume those cyclists pay state and local taxes, along with property taxes for their homes. also, all of the cyclists i know own. vehicles. this fictional non-car owning character you’ve made up is rare.

So ... what you’re saying is, what’s wrong with this article is that I’m correct about the Xbox One being a bad product. Nice.

I thought I was the only one who thought this poster was kind of terrible. I am not.

That is not great art. I'm sorry.

One last OT Destiny post:

Doc Savage is hardly the sole example of a man being portrayed provocatively in pulp literature. Google image “pulp magazine covers” for about a billion other examples. Your stance is disingenuous.

Let pulp be pulp. Have we strayed so far into the realm of ‘equality’ that a goth Gwen Stefani clone is what passes for seductive vampire today? This is feminism as marketing gimmick. Nothing more. Yawn.

This tech is truly amazing, but I hope it also can function as a more ‘traditional’ VR headset. I play video games in part to escape reality so if everything is happening in my living room that’s going to get boring real fast - even if robots are blasting through my walls it’s the same room(s), I don’t want to have to

I’m not buying the excitement for a few reasons:

I CAN TELL YOUR MIDICHLORIAN COUNT IS LOW huehuehuehue

It should be mentioned that a few things in the now-retconned Expanded Universe made their way into the series proper - Palpantine’s name and Coruscant, for instance. Lightsabers absorbing Force Lightning too. So it’s not completely gone! (And we still have our memories).

Ruckus in the Cage 12: Mixed Martial Sharts

“Did Kobe stand around grandstanding before juking about 30 different ways before throwing off an ill-advised jumper because his teammates didn’t do anything, or did Kobe’s teammates stand around and not do anything because they knew that no matter what they did he’d still stand around grandstanding before juking

Weird. Back-to-back stories about farting hot dogs.

The movie starts. The opening text tells us that at least Nexus 6 model replicants are illegal on Earth.

I always thought it worked better if he is human, because it shows that some of the replicants he is hunting (Roy Batty chief among them) were in many ways more ‘human’ than Deckard had become over the course of his life and probably in large part because of his line of work.

I’m in the camp that thinks the juxtaposition between an artificial being that appreciates life’s wonder and wants more of it and a human being who is basically a walking shell made the movie more interesting. This Deckard replicant nonsense lowers Blade Runner in my eyes.
