I'm a slow learner.

but..but isn't Dishonored a clone of Thief? I'm so confused by you good sir/madame

Ahhh Taylor Hicks.

Ha, I'd say it's more love-hate relationship. I do actually adore Steam! It's made turning on a console damned difficult in the last year, personally.

The game is developed by Eidos, and they're owned by Square-Enix. Ubisoft is not involved at all.

The problem with this being a "fuck you" to pirates is that it's an even bigger "fuck you" to not pirates.

that and it's likely the pirates will find a way around this and then it will only be a fuck you to legitimate customers.

So what you're telling me is, if you've jailbroken your device, the ONLY way to play it is to pirate a version with this restriction removed. It's not that they don't want you to have it; it's that they don't want you to pay for it.

Buy a game known for hacking mini-games and dealing with issues around technology, cannot play on your hacked piece of technology.

You can only Temple Run on one-leg on jailbroken devices.

It'd be funny if it wasn't so fucking sad.

And don't forget, completely bypassing the intended target.

Someone who legally purchases this game on a jailbroken phone still isn't allowed to play the full game that they paid for. Jailbreaking a phone isn't illegal, and this anti-piracy measure does not target people who stole the game, it merely targets people who are running a jailbroken version of iOS.

Ah, anti-piracy measures. Hurting legitimate customers since its inception, and helping no one in the process.

do you smell that? *sniff* smells like class action lawsuit.

Fixed.

How sad is the world we live in today where you can mow down hundreds of police officers and federal agents in a mass murder rampage in a pretend video game, but if your character smokes a harmless plant in the same game, the entire world loses their minds.

His friends are slinging drugs on the street, he's buying from a dispensery. That show's he's above them other thugs.

Pretty sure that's acid, not pot.

which isn't how pot works at all...

I haven't checked in a while, but I think the fine for smoking pot outside in L.A. is one star.
