There is something like this in Skyrim as well and they never patched it.

For what it is worth, so far the bosses, save the first, haven’t been roadblocks of skill but roadblocks of loadout.

The super easy way to do this is to build yourself a tank. I popped two laser rifles on my shoulders, held two grenade launchers, and just unloaded and barely had to think.

In Destiny 2 the higher your current frame rate the more damage you take from a number of sources. Substantially so in fact, running at a locked 30fps makes you far more durable. 

I may be misremembering but I believe originally it was promoted as a faithful adaptation to the books. I believe that may be where things started off poorly right out of the gate.

It follows a lot of the same formula as the first game but I have found that they have expanded the interesting stuff in each given area. The actual classes along with dual classing adds some much needed variety to the base skillset that I felt the first game was lacking.

My wife and I have been playing this together every night after our daughter goes to bed and absolutely loving it.

I have a fantastic relationship with my boss that extends outside of just my current work and I also have made a name for myself as a reliable objective person that people come to as an in-between for developers and the support team.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve made some friends at work but I’ve also made them WFH. I’m unsure how in this digital age someone would act as if not being next to someone makes it impossible to socialize, get to know them, and become friends.

I really don’t think they wrote themselves into a corner at all. This seems very deliberate. The whole last game set this up. They could have just as easily not done this. 

A job is transactional. I’m not there to chitchat with people who can’t be bothered to be aware of the fact that I’m there to work and I’m not interested in them trying to force socialization on me.
