I hope that we can merge accounts cause I have some stuff on PC and some on Xbox.

The estate tax (inheritance tax? I do not know which or either) on some of those skins is gonna be a real killer.

His wife’s boyfriend kicked him out of the bedroom cause he beat him at Mario Kart.

That’s Johnny Cage for sure.

I don’t mind the platforming too much but I do think they maybe took it too far in Doom Eternal.

This is awesome but I’m especially happy because this is 100% all my Dad wants out of Doom. Just murdering enemies until he dies with as little thinking as he can manage.

I was looking to pick up something new during the steam sale and I just gave up after looking at the amount of pure trash I’d need to wade through to get at something I may give half of a damn about. The organization of their store is atrocious too. A lot of their categorization is just wildly off seeing things in

I played through it recently after my wife lost interest a few hours in and I really liked it. There has only been one thing that really has bothered me and that is when I finished the game I was World Tier 11. The end game then start me at Challenge Tier 4 or whatever for the Expeditions.

I’m happy for more co-op games styled like this. As I’ve gotten older my desire to play competitive with friends has fallen to the wayside and I like to play cooperatively.

Backdoor.

Getting a guaranteed legendary is what is showing appreciation, not getting to cherry pick your loot. Picking specific loot isn’t really what a looter is about.

If I know anything about Tom Clancy it’s that he really was all about writing stories involving the Mold from Resident Evil 7.

Aesthetic aside it looks bad and boring.

This looks kind of awful.

It’s not a loot box at all. You don’t have to pay for it, and it’s on a knockout so if you have 80% of the legendary guns your going to get something in the 20% you do not have.

It feels like they wanted GaaS but didn’t have the money or know how to setup the back end for it and they didn’t want all of the bad expectations with GaaS (that they ended up with anyway). I also think it was so there wasn’t a promise of additional content like GaaS has. I’m still liking it, got a bit farther over

It does seem like they are getting on track to tackle gameplay issues as they are ironing out some of their weird always online but not a GaaS but still weirdly focused on multiplayer in the endgame... game.

I was playing it with my wife but she just kinda lost interest so I started playing it last week in earnest and I’m really enjoying it. Most of the current big issues aren’t really present till the end game, so I have a little bit of time before I get to start hammering the frustration emote.

I agree with most of what you said, but the length of the game was perfect. Everything is so damned long these days.

This section was so awful, just as you said. It was ugly, boring, tedious, annoying, and just not fun. It wasn’t scary or engaging, it wasn’t cool to look at, it wasn’t filled with interesting monsters. Everything in it was so, so, so awful. I love horror games and I nearly stopped just cause it seemed like it was
