I got a few words in and just stopped, there was no value to be had there.

News that surprises no one.

I had those for a while but I didn’t want to have cables lying across my floor.

I’m about 8 feet from the nearest outlet which is back and to the left of me or 12 feet from the console so either way it’s not terribly convenient.

That’s the same brand I use. Love’m!

Fair, but none of them are really conveniently near where I play and I’d prefer not to be tethered.

I mean, I’m 37. So I don’t know if kid really applies to me. I’ve owned nearly every console back to the Atari 2600 and Intellivision 1. I’ve had to play with cables strewn across my room for more of my life than I haven’t and I’d much rather not deal with it. I don’t like being tethered to a console which is like 12

I’m not actually sure if it does or not but if it does it’s definitely not 12 feet long. Anyhow, I’d prefer not to have cables running around.

I’m not really near an outlet so that doesn’t work for me either. Still though I’d prefer not being wired to anything.

Fair enough, but I don’t really have any of those conveniently nearby either. I just prefer rechargeable batteries. I didn’t expect it to be such a contentious topic for people.

Impossible to trust if I’m even replying to a person or smearing shit on my padded walls while screeching.

Yeah, I don’t want cables laying across my living room floor. I grew up with that and I’ve no interest in dealing with it. I’m glad it works for you, is just not my preference.

No you don’t have to but I also don’t want cables going across my living room.

I’d rather not deal with the wires.

Still one I’d not prefer to deal with, having cables across the room is something I just have no interest in after all the years of dealing with it. Plus it’s quite a few feet away and I especially don’t want some long cable I have to find a place for when not in use.

It’s about the same convenience wise, the big difference being you can keep using the same controller and not have to have more controllers than you need or have a cable laying across the living room.

Yeah, I could plug it into my computer or whatever when I’m not using it but usually it dies in the middle of my using it. My wife plays games as well so we’d need 3-4 controllers just for 2 people to consistently be able to play.

The last thing I’d want to do is plug my controller in and have a wire going across my living room. My xbox is like 10 or 12 feet away from my couch, it doesn’t make for an ideal experience. Plus, with my wife also playing we’d have two of the wires dangling across the room. We have a handful of controllers but it’s

Yeah, it has that going for it too. I have a bunch of rechargeable batteries for remotes and whatever other crap is lying around that needs them.

I’m glad that they do. I much prefer swapping some rechargeable batteries than having to dock and charge a controller.
