Trying to use Kotaku feels like I’m having a fucking stroke these days. I know it’s not the fault of the staff here but Jesus Christ it’s an awful format.
They really need to stop with this nonsense Xbox, XXbox, XXXbox is way better.
This is probably the first time technology was really where it needed to be to really, really capture the things that he’d originally rambled off and promised.
I’m pretty sure he even says at one point or someone teases him about being bad at it too. So while I don’t think that is why the Haikus aren’t great I do think that line is there to absolve them a bit of them being bad.
Hyper Scape is weird. The name of the game is the virtual world the battle royale takes place in but then actual battle royale you play is Crown Royale which sounds like a burger.
They’d mentioned it a little while back and they said that overall player engagement wasn’t really worth it for the amount of people that played it.
Oh that’s right, I totally forgot. Good point!
I love this show and I’m really interested to see how being on Netflix changes it.
I’m flabbergasted that after internal deliberations they were still unsure if the N-Word should be removed and had to open it up to the community to see what they thought about the N-Word.
Thank god I don’t have to try the demos in the park.
I’ve been calling it SteamSpace. We just need god awful music on repeat and we’re set.
I think a lot of this came down to players obsessing over how many hours a game was. I remember so many arguments over the years where a game comes out, people find out it’s 10 or 15 hours and then lose their minds because it’s $60.
I’m not sure if that means I’m not an internet baby because that was directed at me or if I’m not an internet baby because you talked with me.
This sounds like something I could watch as a movie but play this for 30 hours doesn’t seem like something I want to subject myself to.
That is almost the entirety of the Civil War plot line.
I cannot find anymore fir planks and it’s basically stopped my progress in it’s tracks which has been a bummer cause it otherwise was enjoyable. Spent an hour just looking for fir planks and nada.
I believe that’s Richard.
Their engine used to be so difficult to work with that merely moving a character from standing in one location to another was a massive undertaking because the engine was initially designed for games like Halo where you’d make and bake a level and you didn’t have to worry about a lot of changes after the fact.
Forsaken is great, Shadowkeep is less good but it does some stuff that really starts to move the narative forward and now a year later you can see it coming to fruition.
