Not to nerd out to much about pokemon, but the show is more sci fi than fantasy. The story has already showed us that they can completely heal pokemon from the brink of death by some scientific means.

Pretty sure he should of darted.

The quick backstory is probably that they had a nice transformer set up to arc and had a neat idea that they could use the metallic coating on the CD to conduct the electricity. Of course, the conductive coating is so thin that the amount of voltage/current they use vaporizes the thin layer, leaving the blank plastic

What a person makes it for, and what they sell it for are two very different things.

Usually only lead engineers go, and even then, they are more "this is how you design it" engineers. You won't see cad jockeys or other strictly mechanicals (never electrical) unless they are going to show off/talk about something super new. (Or make sure someone else says the right things.)

As a guy who builds his own PCs, I do like reading these. I also love the snap in stuff coming out, but that is because I had to slave away putting screws in everywhere in the old days.

I hope he doesn't jump.
