The one I went on had an extra thing that you could get for endless soda. Basically you buy the cup, and they will fill it up for free anywhere and anytime on the ship.

Yeah, I hope I don't dissuade people from going on cruises. They are tons of fun, and you can save a lot of money by going on them. You just have to know what does and what does not cost money.

They use your room key like a credit card.

They do include some stuff. Some meals, some drinks. There is free pizza as well. Sometimes fro-yo.
