But the EJ275 is the only engine that still has a Subaru boxer rumble. :-\
They should have tuned the snot out of it to give it one last hurrah.

I don't. But, um, I know someone who might. Yeah...
Glad I could help!
One request: if you do end up wrapping a car, please *don't* do it in matte black. So over done. ;-)
There will always be small creases and lines that are impossible to wrap. By using black as the "base color" it blends into shadow. The RS will have a black interior so the door sills will blend in better too.
Trust me, I wrapped a white car. It didn't look bad (in fact it turned out great) but looking at it every…
After seeing the WRX Concept in Frankfurt I was beyond ready to own another Subaru. After seeing the production Impreza, not so much. :-\
The new Forrester is nearly as ugly. It's selling like crazy with no manual turbo option so I fully understand that I'm not on the popular side of this argument.
It took the STs to prove to Ford that the US would buy a hot-hatch. They could have brought it here but they were't sure they could have sold enough to pay for the endeavor.
Pro Tip: if you're planning on wrapping a car, order black not white.
Is it the production color and not the show color? Hard to tell on my crappy work monitor. :-/
I've had cars wrapped before, and if things work out and I can get an RS I will order black and have it wrapped. But you're not going to get this exact color and you're going to have to pay more over the purchase price.
I think it's supremely silly to tell people who are purchasing a $400,000 GT that they can't get…
I feel terribly sorry for everyone in the TG family, save one person...
Choice is good. Personally, I will opt for hatchback usability and new car warranty over BMW repair and maintenance costs. But it's great to be in a position to decide where to spend $40k on a car that's fun. :)
My wife loves this color. Then I had to explain that it was "show only."
This did not help my purchase argument.
Good problem to have. ;-)
Or how many Subaru fans were insulted by the bait-and-switch of the WRX Concept and the production Impreza, and have left the brand until they decide to make cars that aren't offensive to look at.
It will be better than the STi but not as good as the R. The "facelifted" 2015 Focus interior is a big improvement, but it's not R/GTI quality. The RS will get a better steering wheel (after replacing a steering wheel I will never again discount the dramatic effect a nice wheel can have) and optional Recaro seats. …
An AWD turbo hatchback from Ford that is offered for sale in America isn't special, but an STi is???
For *this* Focus? I will.
I don't think the expect to sell millions, at least not at first. There's enough demand world wide to make production profitable. Bringing it to the US is buying good press and they've already primed the market with the STs.
I'm pretty stoked to see the final numbers for price (my prediction is $36,000 base) and…
