It will be better than the STi but not as good as the R. The "facelifted" 2015 Focus interior is a big improvement, but it's not R/GTI quality. The RS will get a better steering wheel (after replacing a steering wheel I will never again discount the dramatic effect a nice wheel can have) and optional Recaro seats.

An AWD turbo hatchback from Ford that is offered for sale in America isn't special, but an STi is???

For *this* Focus? I will.

I don't think the expect to sell millions, at least not at first. There's enough demand world wide to make production profitable. Bringing it to the US is buying good press and they've already primed the market with the STs.

I'm pretty stoked to see the final numbers for price (my prediction is $36,000 base) and

"This car is no longer listed for sale."

TIL: Jenna Leigh Huggins doesn't know the difference between your and you're.

I finally got to check out a Renegade in person today: it's a great little Jeep. I'd *LOVE* to give one a proper test drive.

Now make mine a 1990 so I can import it to the US.

So much hate masquerading as a positive article. Congrats?

automatic...

I love it (like, a lot), but there's NO WAY this passes pedestrian crash standards. :-(

The problem with supercars is you're *always* driving at roughly 1/10 of their potential when you're on a public road and 6/10 when you're on a track (if you're lucky and well trained).

Germans. SMH...

A Porsche C7?

Bloomberg's guess is that it could be an electric car, or maybe a shooting brake version of the Panamera platform. Whatever it is, they're right to say it'll probably fill the huge chasm between the $151k 911 Turbo and the $845k Porsche 918 Spyder.

I think it has electric power steering this generation, not sure about taking that out to save weight.

Can anyone else chime in?

Please, please PLEASE let there be a fairly easy and fairly affordable way to add 75HP to this car. Like $4000 affordable, install it in your garage over a couple days with common tools and internet easy (like pretty much every past Miata).

Right platform, wrong engine.
