Like isotonerpatrern said, sure there is a niche for the female gamer but the target audience for games in general are males between 18-25 even 30 years old. The majority of gamers are males.
You can say female gamers are on the rise and that may be true, but as of right now the majority of gamers are males and those

Damn, all these people sippin' on some haterade for the Frozen.

What gives? Can't people like a movie?

Are you all that entitled that you can't let someone enjoy Frozen because you feel it's too "overrated" (which btw is and will always be your opinion).
I love the crap out of the movie and I grew up with Aladdin and

I'm honestly not surprised PunkBuster is causing problems. There was a time I got banned from servers 2-3 times in a row.

I'm not sure how it's supposed to read for cheating but it's doing it wrong.

Is it just me or is something off about the art style. Are the colors washed out? It's almost like there's a glare on every single picture.

Not gonna lie, I got an X1 for other reasons (mainly because I have a need to spend money and I enjoy owning every system because I can) but this, I'm excited. Even though I didn't get around to playing the original, I'm really excited for this. These next few years for this generation are going to be awesome.

Pretty much all the FPS games I'm going to be playing as well. I was tallying up games coming out this year and next and I swear I heard my wallet start to weep a little.

So I get that it allows us to play older games but is it only streaming?

I haven't really followed this but will we be able to purchase the game in full and dowload it or is it strictly streaming?

I didn't have a PS1 or PS2 so there are some games I'd love to play eventually.

Still excited though! haha

Which is normal for an open world/galaxy exploration game. I don't need quests or a main objective but just exploring would maybe last a day, two tops. So I'm happy to hear about, well, everything else.

Well I've set my confusion aside and have continued to read up on it. The concept is exciting.
However, I'm going to wait to see if it's executed properly. I've seen things like this before where "It's never been done before" or "This isn't your average open world game" and then it's just average.

This was the most helpful and in-depth reply I have ever received. It was insightful as to the thinking of someone hyped about the game and it also gave me the info needed as to the game itself.
When I saw the reveal (at least I think it wasn't shown before) at E3 I was a bit lost as to what was so amazing about it. It

That was my thing. I thought it was just exploring and looking at stuff which was why I wasn't on board. I mean I can see the appeal but that's not something I'm willing to pay money to do.
However, as I have learned, it's much more than that and with all the new info I've gotten from people, the game is actually

Gee this comment was so helpful. I will definitely follow your advice and never think of it again :D

Gotta be honest, I don't understand the hype.

Is it just the space fighting aspect that's getting everyone excited?
For all of you that are pumped about this, help me out. What exactly is drawing you toward the game?

The differences seem subtle (have it for PS4 but haven't gotten around to playing any version of it) but what makes the game look nicer is the lighting. The shadows jumping around and how the light actually plays on everything seems to be the biggest difference.

No...no you don't. This isn't WWI and we are not at war.
The problem is that as gamers we seem to have this notion that if you're not using a specific platform then your game/life choices are bad and wrong.

I own every console and I game on PC.
Fact of the matter is, if you're a fanboy for any one thing or system, you're gong to respond with vile and snarkyness which is dumb.

You're not making a point by bashing them, you're just showing you're willing to stoop down to their level and be as dumb as they are. Go and enjoy

HA SO FUNNY BECAUSE IT'S TRUE!

I own a PC and those few thousand other game (I'm assuming indie since that is the crapfest you have to wade through in order to find something good) don't equal the quality of the Last of Us.

Should probably stop being snarky and just enjoy gaming no matter how it's done.

What's odd is that when I first saw/read about this I was super excited. Bungie made Halo so obviously my thought was "HOLY CRAP BUNGIE IS MAKING A NEW IP I'M SO EXCITED!"
Then I saw the art for it and got even more pumped because it looked like space cowboys or something.

Now, every time I see something for it I'm
