Competition to keep prices low?
Competition to keep prices low?
I at one time had an idea like this (though more along the lines of THE MOVIES: THE GAME) and it's really neat to see this come to life.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
Just read up on it from the modder himself. This is basically the explanation thanks. Allows for allocating larger memory blocks from the get go through SKSE since it directly patches TESV.exe.
Thanks for the response and help!

Ok, I am fairly new to PC master race gaming so this may seem like a dumb question to those who know but I wanted to make sure I understand.
When it says "frees up more memory," this is talking about RAM right?
Draw distance and the like uses your RAM and since Skyrim had limited use (even after the patch which allowed…
I didn't have a PS2. I went with an Xbox and a Gamecube. I never got around to playing the games that were released on any Playstation console so this is nice for someone like me who never got around to playing it.
The one you played. Done.
No, don't do this. This is a terrible idea.
You don't have to convince me. I already have it and loved it on the PC.
I agree it needs to be a paid patch because it does look like effort was actually put into making the game look nicer.
However, for those that didn't play it (I know people who didn't), it's nice for them to get this version.
I got this on PC (thank you Steam sale) and rather enjoyed it. I'm kind of sad to see it being "redefined" for consoles only. While I feel PC had great graphics when the game came out, I'm sure it would hurt to see the update model/textures on everything else. While us PC gamers like to feel superior, companies do…
Not everyone played it and this will be good for those who didn't and now have a X1 or PS4
I gotta agree with Stlwatts. This pic is 100x better than what was posted.
2 years? Just recently were PS3 games added on. You know, the end of it's cycle.
Give it 4 years near the end of the PS4's life cycle and then you'll see PS4 games being thrown on there. Shortly followed by an announcement of the PS5
You're opinion.
Game prices weren't in the 80 dollar range (at least for the games I got) and the console itself was very good at the time.
Now you say that the N64 games have aged horribly, show me a game from the PS1 or that era in general that hasn't. Seriously, go be a fanboy somewhere else. Don't just spew shit…
Wonder just how good these things will be when you can start adding Nvidia's new mobile chip in there.
Ewww Perfect Dark Zero...so much hope was destroyed with that game.
I hear what you're saying. Just takes time for developers to optimize and actually put some effort in to the new gen.
Ahhh yes, didn't even cross my mind that could come into play. Well then, ignore my comments. Good day to you sir/madame.
But now I won't be able to get Deadpool on my PC. I don't think I've even seen a physical copy of that game for PC here.
Huh that's weird. I've gone back and played Dreamfall and that works perfectly as well. Idk, maybe I just got dumb luck on my side.
How long did this gen last again? 7/8 years?
From me having a N64 and getting an Xbox I remember like 4 years passing.
The fact that these current gen consoles are already a gen behind graphics wise (AMD releasing their new cards earlier in the year), I hope this gen doesn't last nearly as long.
