Playing to the target audience...that's how a business works.

I can't comment unless making a Google+ account and after YEARS of having my youtube account, I'm not about to start a new account just to comment.

Youtube blows.

It will still be slower than an internal hybrid/ssd drive.
But hey, I don't keep my games installed after I'm done playing them so to each their own.

I'm in Switzerland so no Gamestop but I'm sure I can find a good price through Amazon.
Thanks for the discussion!

Killzone looks promising, I was a little lost with 2 seeing as how I never played one and then I found a job that took up most of my free time and haven't gotten and around to 3. Is Killzone 3 worth the pick up?

Brink...so promising and it just ended with tears.

Honestly, I feel like that's what IW did. During interviews and stuff they were talking like it was a big improvement because they were using a new engine and such but honestly, I don't feel like it's the big jump they promoted.
Frostbite Engine 3 to me, makes BF4 what BF3 should have been. It's not a huge step up

COD actually developed a new engine specifically for Ghosts. So it isn't the same engine that they've been using since MW2.
Battlefield 4 is using the new Frostbite Engine 3 (instead of 2 as was used in BF3).
As for AC4...I have no idea since I don't play it.

As for the rest of your post, I agree. Launch games are not

Really? I just feel like Blu-Ray hasn't caught on as the industry thought it would. DVD is still a standard in the average laptop drive and in most computers.
I buy Blu-Ray because I happen to have a PS3 now. Before that? Just DVDs or downloads.
While I agree Blu-Rays are getting cheaper, I feel a new form of physical

Firstly, DLC isn't the problem. It's the "mostly finished" part that is the major problem. Games don't have to have DLC to fill in the blanks, some just feel rushed and unfinished but are wanting full price. There isn't an excuse to release games that don't have the time to be finished (i.e. Kotor 2) or are just

From what I understand, this is case for this generation as it was the last gen as well.
Reading from the HDD helps the game run smoother. Though how I'm not sure, hopefully someone else can answer.

I just wanted to let you know that, and this is my opinion, BF4 feels better (albeit I've only played a small amount due to work) than BF3.
The destruction level seems to be on par with that of BF:BC2 honestly. I mean running around with a grenade launcher and blowing a hole in a wall can actually be done again.
Idk,

So you mean AAA developers aren't allowed to do this but do so anyways?

Shouldn't they get all the hate that this little indie studio is?

I'm pretty sure it's like the DS in which the games are saved to the cartridge.

GTA gameplay? No, there are plenty of clones out there and Batman doesn't need to be one of them.

Secondly, what would going into these building allow? What would have been in them? I mean just how populated is this place? Most of the buildings would have been abandoned and you would just be wasting time exploring

I'm thinking uncanny valley.
For me, everything looks great until it gets to the faces. Animation, clothing, looks real good. Then they show the faces and something just seems off.

Well here in Switzerland it's the same case for games. Importing them can be a bit of a pain if it passes a certain amount. I import from England and I can usually avoid paying the taxes (sales and used game ftw!) however, one time I didn't (company made an error on the shipping total) and the tax was massive.

It's a failed piece of equipment that Microsoft doesn't want to give up on. So they want to force people to have it where the only major games that will use it (if any) are the exclusives.
Since a majority of games are cross platform, you're not going to see much use out of it. Also, I don't think it's in the

Woah now, firstly, I wasn't entirely serious with my little poke there. Wasn't expecting a novel in response. I do apologize as I was just trying to poke fun but did so in a childish way and for that I'm sorry.
Secondly, I'm not against Microsoft or their XboxOne (anymore anyways) nor am I a Sony fanboy (I own all

As someone who is a gaming enthusiast (gaming on PC and all consoles and even handhelds), Sony hands down has the best commercials. Seriously, they're either just fun to watch or they do something creative like the "Michael" commercial.

Still on that Microsoft bandwagon?
